  • Mission, Vision, Culture

Our Mission: To facilitate a difference by equipping individuals through programs and services, to reach their full potential and purpose in life and within the Kingdom.

Our Vision: To infuse hope through the practice of renewing the mind.

Our Culture: The culture of The ReSET Center is one of servanthood. We strive to live out the Word of God through service to those in our community, city, state and world through various programs, events and via the internet. Our goal is to equip others to become their best selves and to encourage them to serve and equip those in their sphere of influence.

    Our Beliefs / Section 1

God is the creator of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • Genesis 1:1, 26, 27, 3:22
  • Psalm 90:2
  • Matthew 28:19
  • I Peter 1:2

  • Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross and defeating the power of sin/death. Seated in Heaven at the right hand of the Father, He makes intercession for man and will return again to earth to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords

  • Matthew 1:22-23
  • John 1:1-5, 14:10-30
  • Hebrews 4:14-15
  • I Corinthians 15:3
  • Romans 8:34

  • Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is third person in the Trinity. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He guides Christians into all spiritual truth and produces the fruit of the Spirit in the Christian’s life. The empowering of the Holy Spirit, which is the promise of the Father, is available for every Christian.

  • II Corinthians 3:17
  • John 16:7-13
  • Acts 1:8, 2:4
  • Ephesians 5:18
  • Galatians 5:25
  • Our Beliefs / Section 2

Man is made in the spiritual image of God to be like Him in character. He is the supreme object of God’s creation. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin.” This attitude separates man from God.

  • Genesis 1:27
  • Psalm 8:3-6
  • Isaiah 53:6a
  • Romans 3:23
  • Isaiah 59:1-2

  • Salvation
Salvation is a gift from God to men. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. By grace, man turns from a life of sin to trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness and salvation from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

  • Romans 6:23
  • Ephesians 2:8-9
  • John 14:6, 1:12
  • Titus 3:5
  • Galatians 3:26
  • Romans 5:1

  • Eternity
Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell (lake of fire). To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.

  • John 3:16
  • I John 2:25, 5:11-13
  • Romans 6:23
  • Revelation 20:15
  • Our Beliefs / Section 3

Because of the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross, humanity can experience the healing power of God.

  • Isaiah 53:5
  • I Peter 2:24-25

  • The Bible
The Bible is God’s Word to all men. Because the Bible is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.

  • II Timothy 3:16
  • II Peter 1:20-21
  • II Timothy 1:13
  • Psalm 119:105, 160, 12:6
  • Our History

On June 29, 2019 The ReSET Center hosted its Grand Opening/ribbon cutting and since has made a large impact in the Lawrence community. Pastor Harding along with a group of volunteers started meeting the needs of the community with:

  • Taco Tuesday feeding the community every Tuesday. In the summer of 2019 serving over 3000+ people.
  • Weekly Spanish to English and English to Spanish classes.
  • Weekly Yoga classes
  • Freedom Academy Affordable Childcare
  • Counseling sessions
  • Afterschool care for ages 6-11yrs

  • Howard Harding began pastoring in 2012 with the launching of Freedom Worship Center on 2102 Central Ave, Indianapolis, IN. The vision God gave Pastor Harding was much bigger than the 2102 location. After praying and hearing God, Pastor Harding was led to the far eastside of Indianapolis specifically the 43rd and Post Rd. area. Not fully understanding, but trusting God, he followed God’s direction and a building was purchased. There were many meetings, victories, and some major challenges.

While listening to the leadership of Lawrence Township and looking at the needs of the community, Freedom Worship Center was renamed to The ReSET Center. Pastor Harding realized The ReSET Center wasn’t to be a church as usual and was to truly fulfill John 3:16 by being a resource in all areas of life; natural and spiritual. On January 5, 2019, The ReSET Center answered the need of the community with the launch of its first Worship Service.

Through trusting God and displaying openly a heart of service, the ReSET Center continues to make an impact in the Lawrence community.
