Menopause Treatment
The Science & Procedure
Neuro Sympathetic RESET (NSR) is a 20-minute outpatient procedure that has been shown highly effective in the treatment of anxiety, depression, PTSD/PTSI, hormone imbalance, menopause, and several other conditions associated with a dysfunctional sympathetic nervous system.
Introduction to the Procedure
Menopause is a natural process typically occurring between the ages of 45 and 55, marking the end of a woman's reproductive years and signifying a new chapter in life. However, this transition can bring various undesirable symptoms, such as hot flashes, mood swings, brain fog, and sleep disturbance.
Although hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is considered an effective treatment for menopause, some individuals may opt to avoid HRT or may have contraindications to its use. In 2023, the North American Menopause Society released guidelines listing the Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB) as a non-hormonal alternative for treating menopause.
Our optimized version of the SGB is termed the Neuro Sympathetic Reset (NSR). This simple and well-tolerated 20-minute procedure provides a drug-free approach to symptom control by addressing the root cause of menopausal symptoms. The injection, done under ultrasound guidance, can help regulate blood flow, restore temperature regulation, and curb hot flashes. By targeting the part of the nervous system responsible for the "fight or flight" response, NSR also helps reduce anxiety, aids in restorative sleep, and improves mental clarity.
What To Expect
Before the Procedure
Before the procedure we will review your medical history and any medications you're currently taking. It's essential to inform us of any allergies or if you're on blood thinners. Adjustments to your medication or additional precautions may be taken based on each individual patient’s needs.
During the Procedure
We will clean the injection site and apply a local anesthetic to minimize discomfort. The injection itself should be relatively painless, and you may feel warmth or numbness in your neck or arm afterward. The procedure is performed with ultrasound to guide the precise placement of the medication, helping to provide the safest and most effective outcome.
After the Procedure
Following the injection, you may temporarily experience weakness or numbness in your arm, drooping of the eyelid on the side of the procedure, raspy or hoarse voice, difficulty swallowing, and a possible release of exaggerated emotions. These symptoms are expected as they indicate the medicine was placed in the correct area. The symptoms should subside within hours.
Potential Risks and Complications
While complications are rare, as with any medical procedure, there are potential risks such as bleeding, infection, or nerve damage. We take every precaution to minimize these risks––your wellbeing is our primary concern.
Follow-Up
Shortly after treatment we will reach out to see how you are doing and discuss your results since/from the procedure. Our Patient Engagement Team will be there to support you, including follow-up calls, ongoing assessments and overall support to ensure your success throughout your journey.

What if?
Post-Traumatic Stress is an INJURY (PTSI) to the sympathetic nervous system (SNS) which triggers the amygdala and can directly impact every homeostatic system in the body.
RESET’S NSR treatment releases the “fight, flight or freeze” responses – often stuck “on” – to allow restoration to the pre-trauma state, allowing for release, revival, renewal, RESET of the sympathetic nerve. NSR is a pathway to healing from the scars of trauma and stress.
"I tracked my hot flashes for a week before getting treatment, and I would often have 35-40 hot flashes a day, including night sweats that kept me up. After the NSR Menopause treatment, I may have one or two very minor hot flashes. I feel so much relief."
NSR is a 20-minute, minimally invasive, evidence-based outpatient procedure that physiologically allows your sympathetic nervous system (SNS) to RESET to its baseline state of peace, ease, presence, and clarity.
A physiological reset, RESET's Neuro Sympathetic Reset (NSR) is relieving the “fight, freeze or flight” response – often stuck “on” – to restore the at-rest, untriggered pre-trauma state in those experiencing symptoms including…Release, relieve, renew, revive, RESET. NSR is a pathway to relief from the scars of trauma and stress for all.

More Treatments
Our Neuro Sympathetic RESET (NSR) is a 20-minute outpatient procedure that effectively resets the sympathetic nervous system to its unstuck, pre-stress, or pre-trauma state. It is a modified version of a Stellate Ganglion Block, an FDA-approved injection for pain relief. This procedure is now off-label for treating PTSD(I), anxiety, depression, insomnia, long-COVID, chronic fatigue, and impulsivity by resetting the "fight, flight or freeze" response to its pre-trauma baseline.
Neuro Sympathetic Reset (NSR) has been shown to relieve your response to triggers, improve mood, and benefit sleep. It allows your brain to form new neuropathways and optimize your response to traditional therapies.
Additionally, we are investigating several other conditions that may benefit from this treatment, such as anxiety-related sexual dysfunction, eating disorders, hormonal imbalances, post-TBI concussive symptoms, and chronic inflammatory issues.
Ketamine impacts brain neurotransmitters, enhancing communication between neurons by increasing glutamate levels. This activation of neural pathways, known as synaptogenesis, can influence mood, thoughts, and cognition. By boosting glutamate, ketamine improves neural communication, potentially lifting mood and alleviating depression. Additionally, it may repair damage from long-term stress hormones, enhancing the brain's communication system.

IV drip therapy involves administering fluids, essential vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly into the bloodstream for rapid absorption. It goes beyond simple hydration, offering a comprehensive replenishment of nutrients. Guided by our physician team, you can select IV Drip Therapy tailored to your goals—whether enhancing immune defenses, promoting youthful skin, or improving athletic performance and recovery.
Therapeutic Botox offers a promising alternative treatment for individuals who haven't found success with other options. Botox temporarily inhibits the nerve signals responsible for muscle contractions. This leads to decreased muscle activity, alleviating symptoms and delivering substantial relief.
Trigger point injections work like magic for myofascial pain in your neck, shoulders, back, or limbs. Picture those stubborn muscle knots or tense bands – they're the bullseye for these targeted injections. The best part? Relief is swift, safe, and versatile. Say goodbye to pain, hello to improved movement, and relaxed muscles. You'll feel the benefits almost instantly, with lasting effects that can span weeks to months. The best part? No need for a doctor referral or consultation. You can get treatment on the very same day as your first visit!
